7th Grade Vaccination Initiative
The Hancock County Health Department is sponsoring a 7th Grade Vaccination Initiative to help ensure that adolescents have an opportunity to receive their Tdap and Menactra shots before the next school year.
Parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their family doctor before school begins next year to see if your child is up-to-date on their shots and get a routine health check-up.
If you are unable to take your child to the family doctor, the Health Department will give your child the shots at the following locations....
St. Joseph the Worker Grade School: The Dube Dome, Weirton, WV
July 20th, 2010 4pm - 8pm
American Legion, Chester, WV
July 27th, 2010 4pm - 8pm
Please bring all previous immunization records for your child. A parent/guardian must be present to sign permission documents. There is no fee for the vaccines.
