As of July 9, 2026, 47 cases have been reported across West Virginia since June 17.
There is currently no specific produce grower/supplier, or specific food that has been identified as the source of the outbreak.

No one fully knows how Cyclospora gets into food and water.
People can prevent cyclosporiasis by not consuming food or water that may be contaminated with feces.
