The Hancock County Health Department offers limited lab testing by appointment.

The “Value Package” is $60.00.  The 4 panels included are the Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (screens liver and kidney functions), CBC with Diff (monitors red/white count including platelets), Lipid Panel (cholesterol monitoring) and the Thyroid Panel.  The above panels can be done alone for a specific fee or in conjunction with the Value Package.

Other individual labs that can be requested include A1C (Sugar), PSA (prostate), Vitamin B-12 level, Vitamin D level,  and urine creatinine/albumin ratio.   If you need another lab that is not listed call to inquire, if we can do it, we will.

***If you choose to use your insurance, you will need a doctors order, insurance card(s) & identification.  The performing lab (LabCorp) will bill your insurance. If there is a balance owed by you, they will contact you directly.  A $10 service fee may be required at the time of your visit at the Hancock Co HD.

Regardless of payment option, once the results are completed, you will be mailed a copy of your results. You may also ask to have your results faxed to your healthcare provider.  You must then follow-up with your healthcare provider to discuss your results. The Hancock County Health Department is not responsible for the results or your follow-up with your healthcare provider.
